A lovely old, elegant hotel. Lots of stairs (which was not a problem for us except carrying heavy cases). Delightful, helpful and friendly staff, lovely mid level terrace where we enjoyed a bottle of wine. Lovely spacious, clean, comfortable rooms, front overlooking the cathedral. Definitely recommended. We really enjoyed our stay - the staff is most accomodating and helpful. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and some with airconditioning. Directly across from the cathedral some rooms have beautiful views. Nice breakfast...The staff was wonderful. more

The hotel has a charming ambience - oriental rugs, old furniture in the halls.The room we had was very nice - at the front overlooking the cathedral. Clean, neat, biggish and comfortable - double bed (large). Bathroom was fine although not huge.Parking in the underground opposite was 9 euros a day. This is an excellent hotel. The rooms and service are of a very high standard. Stayed in the hotel in 1998 and had very fond memories.
