Stopped here as we’d had enough of driving after we came off the autoroute. A hangover from the 60s/70s in design/style/furniture and something of a Marie Celeste in that we seemed to be the only customers (3 more cars in car park on our return from dinner but tables in breakfast set for singles so probably business-people on their travels. The hotel has fairly extensive grounds with tennis courts and swimming pool (looked OK but too cold to swim). Despite the apparent age of the place, it has large rooms, the furniture was all in good condition and everything worked properly, the beds were comfortable and the heating was on. Breakfast was also reasonable, so not a bad place to stay a night if you don’t mind the emptiness (perhaps it would be fuller if the weather had been better). Double/twin 58 Euros, breakfast @7 Euros. Can’t comment on their restaurant as it was closed (Sunday). more
