Excellent food, very close to grotto all rooms are clean and large, staff are helpful. Lovely atmosphere and contrary to popular belief there is no pool it was shut down many years ago. however was a very pleasant hotel worth every penny. more

We stayed at this hotel when we visited Lourdes, it is about 10 min walk away from the sancturies but the plus side of this is their is a shuttle bus that costs 1 e and it is a lot quiter than staying near to the sancturies. Good and enjoyable stay. I have stayed in the Alba for several years. If you are going to Lourdes you should stay here, its probably one of the best hotels in Lourdes. All staff can speak English so its all good. The hotel is ideally located in the town centre. more

Had a wonderful time in Lourdes, but found the web-site for Hotel Alba misleading, there was no swimming pool and there was no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Nice clean hotel, plenty to eat with good variety of food. more

The alba offers good food which consists of four course meals for lunch and supper, they normally have a set menue. If you are a vegaterian I would recommend informing them of this in advance as they are not very good at catering for vegaterians, also inform them if you have other dietry requirements.
