I found this hotel from a guide book then called directly to reserve. On various websites I saw that Albert 1er was highly rated, especially for location, and this property is directly next door. The price was about $250 for two nights, and we ate breakfast once. Breakfasts in hotels all over France seem to average 7 to 8 euros per person. Most are continental as this one was, but this one had hard boiled eggs, as well as cheese, ham, yogurt, and fruit. Therefore it was worth the price, unlike the majority of other hotel breakfasts.
The location was ideal for exploring Toulouse, both for sight-seeing and shopping.
The room was simple, nothing fancy, yet it had everything I required: double bed, a/c, shower, TV, and a view. It even had a bidet. I liked it, and would stay here again if I am going back to Toulouse.
