The Victor Hugo in Toulouse is one of the best budget options in a city with just a few four star hotels and dozens of one and two stars. The Victor Hugo ranks about a 3 when compared to the others in it's class.
The rooms are clean-the beds are clean and soft enough that you don't feel you are sleeping on the floor.
The bathrooms are nice-spacious.
The lobby is below average but nice for hotels in it's class in Toulouse.
They have nice armoirs and the rooms are decorated nicely.
They serve breakfast in the morning...7.50 Euros each (about 9.00) for it. It consists of bread, croissants, Yogurt, coffee and juice.
It's normal in Europe to have to leave your room key whenever you leave the hotel.
The location of the hotel could not be better--close to the Plaza, shopping, Brasserie's and everything else you'll want to experience--all in walking distance.
