I have just completed a 3 week tour of Europe, encompassing France, Belgium,Holland, Germany, Austria and Slovenia. Of all the places I have eaten at, from motorway services, hotels, to restaurants cafes and bars, I can safely say that Campanile Loon-Plage serves by far the worst food. My mother and I only stayed there one night, the hotel is quite nice but the location is remote to say the least. There is a dual carriageway passing the hotel and that's it, the rest of the area is in TOTAL darkness, not even a street light outside the hotel grounds.
