We stayed for one night en-route to Spain. When travelling we would normally stay at BB Hotels or Campanile but Kyriad had a good deal going. The hotel is located just 10 minutes drive from the Norfolk Line Ferry Terminal making it a very suitable place for an early start to travel through Paris and into central France. The Loon Plage is close to the ferry at Dunkerque so we selected it because it was very cheap and was just somewhere to crash after a very long drive from north Wales. Everything was VERY basic. The hotel was very conveinent to get to the ferry port. We paid 80 euro for the night and breakfast which is good. However, the room was very small. It smelled really bad. Firstly this is not a holiday hotel, it is more of a ferry break or journey break. The hotel is relatively new, well positioned to main road but quiet. There is no restaurant but the breakfast room is large, well lit with lots of tables.
