This is a great hotel - as it's a Campanile it's standard accomodation at a budget price, but it's definately worth checking out. We weren't expecting much from this chain motel, but we were pleasantly surprised to have a beautiful view of the Bayeux cathedral and a good buffet breakfast. We had rented a car, so the distance from town wasn't an issue for us, and it was very easy to get to all the Bayeux sights and the D-Day beaches. more

We stayed here after coming off the boat from Cherbourg. We had a great stay. It was ideal as they provided a cot for the baby and put us in the ground floor. Nice neat place about a km south of town. Our room looked out on a pasture with cows almost at our front door and a view of the cathedral. Room was clean and decent sized. A bit noisy from upstairs ( non-carpeted floor). Close to Normandy beaches. more

The Campanile is extremely easy to find being located just off one of the main roads in/out of Bayeux. It is set back from the road so does not suffer from traffic noise.
