Like most reviews here we found this accomodation to be ideal for our needs, unfortunately having listened to others review of the Breakfast we opted to have eat elsewhere only to find out on the last day that this hotel did the Best out of the ones we tried. Would certainly stay here again and most certainly have the Breakfast... more

This hotel has a lot of charm. The location is good, in the centre of town, within walking distance of the Bayeux rail station and on the block that has the meeting point for D-Day tours. Staff were friendly and they understood my English OK. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a restaurant downstairs that is good value. more

We recently returned from a 7 1/2 week, 9 country European trip. This hotel was one of our best 4 night stays along the way. When in a foreign country, it is refreshing to find such outstanding service, pleasant and helpful personnel, as well as a clean room. This hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance of anything you... more

This is a no-flrills hotel: you get exactly what you pay for. Rooms are not very spacious but are clean and comfortable, our was on the roof, had 4 beds and a good flat-screen tv. bathroom was really small but clean and had the best shower I ever found in a hotel... plenty of hot water with a thermostatic control... more

This hotel was great , everyone very friendly and the breakfast and restaurant is very nice too. Rooms are small and basic but clean and comfortable. Very near to the D Day tours pick up which was great. Really enjoyed our stay thanks very much. Would definitely recommend and at such a great price too. more

This is the place to stay in Bayeux! The hotel owners were freindly, helpful, and speak excellent English. The rooms are basic, but clean and a good value for the area. The hotel restaurant accommodates indoor / outdoor seating, and serves a great vegetable soup with Norman cream. The hotel is situated across the street from the Cathedral and very... more

An easy 10-minute walk from the train station, this is a nice little quaint hotel from which to enjoy Bayeux. Our room was tiny, with a view of the roof, but despite that, we enjoyed our stay. We didn't spend any time in the room except to sleep, anyway! The staff is VERY helpful and recommended some restaurants and other... more

I went to Bayeux to go on a D-day tour. Found this hotel on Tripadvisor and must say I was not disappointed. It is not luxorius, but basic, clean with a great location for the D-day tours meeting point (50-100 meters away). Place du Québec (meeting point) also has free parking which I used. There is also a restaurant on... more

Stayed one night to break trip back to ferry, and stumbled on the Reine Mathilde. It was a lovely small & friendly hotel, fairly basic and no frills, but suited our requirements perfectly. more

Great location to the cathedral, Bayeux tapestry and d-day tour pick-ups. Our double room was simple with a tiny and clean bathroom and tiny TV. Our triple room was a little too small since the single bed was crammed next to the door. There is no A/C, so you need to open the windows but then bugs and lots of... more
