Myriam gave us a fine welcome on our arrival and provided a lot of helpful information on the Bayeux area. Throughout our stay, she and her hardworking sons provided good service. The Villa Aggarthi will be perfect for animal lovers, with several pets roaming the courtyard. They were well-behaved and we never saw them enter the guest areas. The room... more

We stayed here for three days and the owner could not have been more helpful. She advised us, over breakfast, of the best D-Day landing beaches to visit, based on our time frames (you do need at least 1 day to do this), as well as what to see in Bayeux itself. The rooms had a little kitchen area with... more

My husband and I stayed at Villa Aggarthi for two nights in early July. We had a lovely time and Myriam, our host, was lovely. She was friendly, helpful and very willing to make suggestions. She even helped us clarify some confusion with the operator of a tour we were to go on. This was a big help due to... more

After reserving a room for three nights, with a guaranteed late arrival, we got in about 10 pm. Despite the claim of air conditioning, there was none. I took a shower, but failed to realize that the past several guests had left a bunch of hair in the drain. Soon the shower stall overflowed (we had been traveling from Berlin... more

Stayed two nights on our tour of D-Day area. Rooms very clean and spacious, recently renovated. Breakfast of very French coffee, croissants, baguettes and conversation & advice from Miriam, a most welcoming & helpful hostess. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. more

This was an excellent base for our D-Day beaches tour of Normandy. We stayed for three nights in this friendly, family run B&B. We had originally booked into one of the smaller rooms, but found to our delight that the landlady had given us the larger rooms at no extra cost. We had one living room a bathroom a bedroom.... more

My husband and I have recently returned from a 4 day stay in Bayeux staying in this B+B. It is very centrally located - 3 mins walk to the Bayeux Tapestry Museum and 5 mins walk to the Cathedral. We had an attic room which was spacious with a good sixed en-suite. Its decoration was bright and cheerful. There is... more

Found this delightful place and it was a very pleasant experience. The husband has done a great job fixing up the rooms and kitchen. There is a drop down steel door 'for privacy' but it meant moving the chairs in even further, limiting the already small space, and it made it very dark, so we just clothes pinned the curtain.... more

Great place as a base for D-day beaches tour!! Close to restarants and the beautifull city center of Bayeaux. Very frienly hosts, who helped us to plan our tours and book restaurants. Breakfast was served in the garden. We can really recommend this place. more
