We stayed at the Holiday Inn Caen City Centre from July 8 through 11, 2009. It was not a good experience. The hotel is old and shows its age. I stayed here for one night in March while on a European group tour. The hotel itself was beautiful and nice. The elevator was small, which caused problems since I was with such a big group. Was part of large party visiting landing sites etc. No one was impressed. The superior rooms where fine and well maintained, but lacked chairs and drawers.
