We have stayed at the Hotel Renaissance on a number of occasions, most recently in mid June 2006 and have always found it a really pleasant experience. The hotel is very conveniently situated near both the sea front and the town, staff are always friendly although we've rarely found anyone who speaks English. The rooms are all named after flowers and are nicely furnished and spotlessly clean, as is the whole hotel. Prices are very reasonable and it is an ideal choice for an overnight stop before or after a ferry crossing. Highly recommended.
