Agree wth other reviewers! this place is gloriously full of colour and clutter but retains an eclectic elegance and unique style of its own. We stayed at Hotel l'Ecrin for just two nights in September. Extremely gracious staff. Nice location in that we could walk to the busy harbour but the hotel's street itself was quiet and safe. OK room; not large; nothing extraordinary. Our room had a bathub which was nice and a fantastic shower. more

We stayed at L'Ecrin and Honfleur as a base for Normandy visits. We liked Honfleur and did not mind the 20-30 min of driving to the main sites.
