Based on the reviews here, I booked 2 rooms for 1 night in May, 2011. We were not disappointed. We all (3 of us travelling together ... my husband and I and my sister) loved this place and Honfleur. We were sorry to leave, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We got to hear Jean-Christrophe play the piano, breakfast... More

We spent a whole week at La Liniere, being in our honeymoon. The house is beautiful, 5 min walk from the harbour of Honfleur. Being inside the house you're feeling like being at the beginning of the 20th century and if you're lucky enough to hear Jean-Christophe playing the piano you'll probably have one of the most romantic, cosy and... We got lost everywhere we went on our roadtrip through Normandy. Didn't arrive at our B&B until 22:30 and had no way to call ahead to advise of our dilemma. Our host was so kind and helpful, eventhough we had to wake him when we arrived. I truly thought we would be spending the night in our car. The location... More

This is a grand old house. Our room (Bergamote) was simply lovely. Immense, it accommodated our family of three very comfortably. Our ensuite bathroom was pristine. (I’m not sure all the rooms have ensuite, check when you book). The owners will go out of their way to be helpful but are really discreet. If you don’t ask for anything, you... More

In the company of friends were traveling to France and for two nights in Honfleur chosen this place. Everything was wonderful! A charming cottage with spectacular views from the windows, furnishings like a little castle, peace and quiet, politeness and hospitality - Thank you! More

This inn is just up the hill from Honfleur - a 10 minute walk from the main square and great restaurants. The walk back up the hill after dinner helps to reduce the guilt surrounding eating great quantities of good food. The 1800s era building is classic - it was the home of the chief chandler. The Diet family have... More

We stayed at La Liniere on the basis of the reviews on Trip Advisor - and it was even better than we had hoped! We were two couples, and stayed in Bergamote and Capucine bedrooms. Bergamot is the largest, with a four poster, an extra single bed / settee and a table and chairs. It was a charming room. Capucine... More

La Liniere is a 19th century chateau nestled against a hillsid, about a five-minute walk from the village centre, with views toward Normandy's cable bridge. Inside, each room is decorated with family antiques that add an air of elegance and exoticism. Our room, Jonquille, faced away from the views, but the sunflower yellow walls, high ceilings, lovely furnishings and tall... More

La Liniere is a fantastic place to stay. The house itself is beautiful. It's set just at the top of the old town and has lovely views of the town and Pont Normandie bridge. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of Honfleur - worth checking out for a couple of days. The owner also spoke good English and... More

We found this little treasure on [--] and rang direct to book. The host speaks fairly good English. Staying here set the standard for the rest of our stay in France. It is a beautifully restored mansion set just a very short walk out of the harbour town of Honfleur. There is secure parking to enable you to enjoy the... More
