The hotel is situated right in the centre of the town and due to the one way and pedestrian streets it was a challenge to find it. But it is very friendly, with nice rooms and attentive staff. I appreciated the warm interior design, with the small exception of the book photos on the bed headboard, which cheapened the setting.... more

Convenient - right in Rouen city center. Hard to find by car unless you have a GPS. Clean, comfortable, but typical hotel. Rates were reasonable, except the cost for breakfast (which is true in most of France). more

This is a very nice hotel in the best location... It is a small town but it's also great to be in the centre of everything!! The rooms were very comfortable and clean... Not too small. Staff were friendly and helpful and I would return to this hotel without doubt. more

Best location for short city trips. Close to everything but located in a quiet, narrow street. Rouen is a beautiful city but unfortunately offers no 4* or boutique hotels so considering this, Mercure is probably the wisest and safest option in town.
