Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is our second visit to this hotel which overlooks the Seine river. It's by a fairly busy road but you wouldn't know it as the windows make it very quiet. We booked a family room and it was very well equipped, clean and very comfortable. Ours had a microwave, mini fridge, kettle, nespresso and safe. We parked our car as the parking is secure and underground. We then went to.look around Rouen seeing the beautiful cathedral, the large clock and some Monet paintings at the Musee Des Beaux Arts. We then went out to eat on the quayside in one of the buzzy bar restaurants.

Exceptional service from the wonderful staff. Lovely breakfast…a wide range of food and drink. Comfortable rooms. Short flat walk to the centre of Rouen. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Great place for a stopover. Hotel is close to river with numerous restaurants. Disconcerting was having to ring a bell to gain access to hotel. However greeted by a rally nice an friendly receptionist. Car parking is 12 euros. There is a height restriction and would suspect difficult to get a larger SUV into underground carpark. Very steep and narrow. Make sure you remember passcode as need that to gain access to parking area and hotel. Big surprise was size of room which was able to divide into two by a curtain. Contained a microwave, fridge, kettle and coffee machine as well as a safe. Able to buy microwavable meals in reception. Bed comfortable and whole room felt clean and fresh. Nice size bathroom with both bath and shower as well as hair dryer. Separate toilet. Our view was over a modern courtyard. Not nicest of views. Would ask for a river view. For location and comfort would definitely stay again.

I was over in Rouen for a few days for work and they made my trip just that extra bit special. The room was spacious and clean with the hotel staff being friendly and attentive. The location is in a peaceful area but the centre is just a 20 minute walk away with an array of delicious restaurants and the historic cathedral. I had to check out early (to my dismay) because of Air Strikes and they made my check out stress-free.

We had a couple of days exploring Rouen & our room made a good base. Being able to leave the car under cover was great and everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fine, although slightly more restrictive in choice than the Novotel in Chartres!

Met expectations. Friendly and attentive staff. Very well organized regarding Covid19. Neat rooms with all necessary comfort. Spacious closed parking. An ideal location to explore the city and its immediate surroundings. The breakfast buffet was not very extensive but more than sufficiently varied and continuously replenished. The hotel is rather on the more expensive side but definitely recommended.

This hotel is across from the river and not that far from several attractions that are walking distance. This is the second time I've stayed in the hotel for business. The rooms are spacious especially since it's just me in the room. This last time I had a room overlooking a courtyard. The hotel was a bit crowded this time for the summer holidays. They followed covid protocols trying to space people out and using masks/gloves. I still felt things were a little too close together especially for the morning breakfast. Overall the staff was very efficient and helpful.

Positive experience in the hotel during the Covid period. Staff were very attentive and welcoming, all hygine measures in place. Rooms good, comfortable, with the added benefit of microwave, coffee machine if needed. Breakfast well managed and relatively good range in as secure an environment as feasible. Parking directly under the hotel (under 2M) seems secure and costs €12 per day. Aircon in rooms was weak, otherwise, was very good.

We stayed here on a hot day (35 degrees) but the air con was unable to cool the room with 2 adults and 2 young children in there. This meant we had to open the window late at night, however the road outside seems to be on the local boy-racer circuit, so it was very noisy. The staff in hotel the were friendly and very helpful, the room was fine, but at breakfast there was little effort to minimise multi-touch items, such as handles, etc. (for Covid 19 prevention)
