I give this hotel a mixed review. Entering the hotel was a strange experience. You pull your car up to a side entrance and call the front desk via the intercom. This was a fantastic place to stay -- provided you did not come to spend lots of time in your room (which we did not!). This hotel was not accurately represented on the web site. The basic premise of staying on the historic property sounded great but the reality was very disappointing. The public spaces are horrible. This hotel in the midst of the ancient and well preserved Abbaye sounded too intriguing to pass up.
