We stayed on the way to and from the Charente maritime. On the way down we had a few beers in the restaurant with our meal and were shocked at the price the next morning at checkout - nearly £200 for 4 adults, 3 kids and a few drinks for one meal. We learnt our lesson for the way back... more

We arrived at this hotel in the early evening passing through some terrible roadworks where a tram was being built. Hotel is located quite out of the way near some housing estates which seemed less than salubrious. On arrival, the parking area at the front was practically full.
