The bed and breakfast Chateau is located just outside of Saumur, right inbetween Tours and Angers. From the location of the estate most great sights of the Loire valley are within easy reach. Within a 20 minutes drive one can visit the beautiful city of Saumur, Fontevraud Abbey, Chateau de Montsoreau, Troglodyte Caves, Chateau de Montreuil-Bellay and many more. Within a 30-40 minutes drive are Tours, Angers, the Chateau de Villandry (with its beautiful gardens), Chinon, and many more. The region is also rich in wine producers which offer wine tastings directly on their estates. It must be difficult to find a better launch pad to explore the Loire valey. However, to take full advantage of the huge amount of travel destinations of the region a car is recommended.
