To ensure quiet, ask for a courtyard room (faces the chateau) rather than facing the Loire, since the road runs that side - being a historic building there is no double-glazing or air conditioning. We booked via Bookings.com very easy and very good value. Overall the service and staff were excellent. We had to work on one day and the hotel staff were very accomodating. A very nice hotel and perfectly situated for a visit to the the château and other sights. A lovely room overlooking the river Loire. This is a lovely old lady of a hotel on the river's edge. For someone from Australia having a castle view bang smack outside your bedroom window is a real trreat. Nice courtyard to enjoy.
