We stayed in Saumur just recently for 2 nights as a get away from our time in Paris, hotel was great with staff very accomodating and the rooms of a good standard. We hired bicycles and with the hotels great location we able to easily visit the nearby wineries. Be sure to visit the city centre for some great food.... more

This hotel has a Very Nice location on a hill above the charming town of Saumur. The grounds are spacious and the view spectacular. The restaurant is of the gourmand variety. 2.5 hours for dinner and Very Expensive, but excellent. The room was a disappointment, but the bathroom was great. more
