We really enjoyed our stay here, with just a couple of reservations. The rooms are large and grand (though two are a bit smaller) and beautifully decorated. The generous breakfast taken by the swimming pool was a delight. Overall, great value for money in such a charming and historic environment. Perfect B&B just a little outside the city of Saumur. Room was situated in the restored 'Domain', big beams, enormous chiminee, nice bathroom, big garden and swimmingpool. Delicious breakfast in a little gardenhouse. Warm welcome by Helga who makes you feel at home. more

Opinions about B&Bs, as opposed to hotels, tend to be personal and impassioned. That said, La Croix de la Voulte is our favorite. We have stayed there three times over five years, going back to the vacinity simply to stay there after having more or less stumbled upon it.
