Stayed 2 nights as we were at a cousin's wedding nearby. Hotel has obviously recently been decorated. Room clean and comfortable. Car park next to the Hotel very secure, locked at night. Easy access to hotel from N2 and well signposted. Restaurant good, had lunch there on the Saturday. Good service and good choice of food. Not expensive. Breakfast buffet... more

Ibis hotels have a "satsified within 15 minutes or you don't pay" policy... We stayed in a ground floor room which had the small double bed against the wall (difficult for two people). Light bulbs were missing (though they did replace these). The shower rail was broken, so you had to hold it in your hand - also no bath... more

Fair basic stopover- room very small with smelly quilt (cigarettes although asked for non smoking room). Car park not that secure. Restaurant not that clean- floor etc dirty, although breakfast OK. Need to drive into town as long walk up hill, but some nice places to eat evening meal. more
