This was our first night of a two week tour of France having taken the Hull-Zebrugge ferry. It was just the right distance away. The room was clean, the staff friendly and the restaurant very pleasant. Being our first day, our school boy/girl French was a extremely rusty but the staff were very understanding and courteous. Enjoyed the quiet and simple service of this country hostellerie. Only 3 star but the restaurant and wine list makes it a 5 star. Arrived hungry and tired in very hot weather in July to enjoy one of the best meals and accompanying wines in a long time.
