Don't let the pictures put you off, the hotel might look drab outside but inside it's clean and fresh. Situated in a good area and just a stone's throw from the old port. I always loved this hotel for its reasonable prices, and great location. I walked past it the other day, and it appears they have bought the building opposite to expand, have refurbished the lobby stuck a big Boutique style sign on the wall, and are now charging 115 euros for a double. Still a good location though with secure parking. more

This hotel is very simple with basic rooms but very clean and in a perfect location (5 mins walk to the port and shops / restaurants). Weren't informed of the roadworks and road to hotel barred when we booked and subsequently took ages to access the hotel. The room was so small had to practically walk over the bed to get to the window, that is without hitting your head on the badly angled plasma screen on the wall. After leaving a bitterly cold UK, we arrived to a very warm welcome. I have some French, but all staff were bi-lingual. Stayed for two nights in September having mainly booked it for the secure parking. Rooms spotless and comfortable, staff friendly and helpful. The location is excellent - what more can you ask for more
