We stayed at this B&B in La Rochelle, France called Aux Remparts, the location is ideal, very close to the old port, with plenty of restaurants etc. You can either pay for parking or there is a free parking two minutes walk from the B&B.

The house is a bit hard to find, as there is no big sign outside, but if you can find it, (5 rue de la Monnaie 17 000 La Rochelle) its very very nice, the rooms are very big and extremely confortable, the decor is superb, the bathrooms are very nice and modern. We stayed in the room Oleron with its window facing the inside garden, very quiet.

The breakfast was excellent and plenty. The owner Julie Maqueda is very nice and will give you information on her town.

The rooms price was 90 euros for a room, worth every penny.

So if you go visit La Rochelle, by the way its a very nice town, stay at the Remparts, you won't be disappointed.
