Rooms are basic, tiled floor, minimal furniture but they are large and clean. Location a pleasant 10 min walk around the port to all the restaurants and sites. Buffet breakfast good value for money. more
Modern basic hotel, ideal for short stay. Contrary to the previous review, we found our rooms to clean. Around £43/night (breakfast extra) for a twin room, very secure parking and free Wi-Fi all included. The walk to the centre takes around 10 mins but is a pleasent walk around the quay. This hotel is part of a large chain which is obvious when arriving. It has no character, is extremely basic and is actually a good 20 minute walk from La Rochelle Port. The bedroom walls were full of squashed insects and I mean absolutely covered with blood trails. The bathroom stunk of stale wee as the shower curtain hung over... more
