Six of us stayed at this B & B in June for 3 nights. The moment we drove into this B & B, we knew we hit a gem. The garden is so beautiful and makes you feel like just to stay there and not going any where. We wish we could stay longer. Marie and Francois are most gracious.... more

What can I say... the house, the grounds, the owners are just amazing. I stayed here a few years ago - actually the first season they opened - and totally fell in love with the place. I was lucky enough to go back this year and it's only improved with age. The addition of the swimming pool is a welcomed... more

Marie and Francois were the perfect hosts. This place was our favorite stay during our entire trip to France. The grounds were ideal, the rooms were large, very clean and had all the ammenities. We looked forward to our evenings of conversation and drinks with these two wonderful people as well as the new people we would meet each night... more

Although circumstances caused us to miss half of our stay at the Pavillion, we loved every minute of it once we did get there. Our room on the third floor was beautiful with a view out onto the swimming pool and gardens in front. The bedroom itself was cozy and comfortable; the bathroom immaculate. Our hosts were welcoming to all... more

I don't know what original thought I can add to the other reviews of Pavillon de la Torse. The location is terrific; the accommodations are outstanding; and the hospitality is simply the best! A traveler would be foolish to stay anywhere else in Provence! My wife and I cannot wait to return and spend more time with Francois and Marie... more

If your goal is to capture the essentials of Provence: the colors as Cezanne saw them; the fragrances of early summer; the peaceful sounds of the country; AND you want to do it in a lovely setting of period antiques; a 15 minute walk to the center of town; and a delicious breakfast in the morning and vintage wines in... more

We have spent 3 nights in room Pomerol of Pavillon de la Torse and we really loved it. We felt very welcome in this beautiful house within the stunning surroundings. The room is very spacious and elegantly decorated, and has an excellent large bathroom with shower over and separate toilet. This was the first stop of our summer holiday and... more

We have just spent last week at Pavillon de la Torse and what a wonderful place it is! From the moment we arrived (a little early) and were directed to the Pergola in the garden with a carafe of wine, to the moment we left, we loved this place. The house is fantastic; the gardens are beautiful and the pool... more

Marie & Francoise are the most welcoming and nurturing hosts. Instantly upon arrival we felt like we were visiting loving family. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and beautifully calming. Pavillon de la Torse is perfectly located and very close to the center of Aix. My wife and I had such a lovely time and were sad to leave. We will... more

Stay here, stay here, stay here!!! Trust me -- as a very seasoned traveler, this is the best. This utterly beautiful house is situated on stunning grounds and has a lovely, tree-lined drive from the entrance gates to the home. The Pavillon de la Torse is such a great surprise located within Aix, and a VERY short, safe and pleasant... more
