Before you call any other place the best in Provence, make sure you stayed here at least for a night. Your hosts will do everything to make sure you feel at home. The pictures on Tripadvisor speak for themselves, but let me assure you: It's just as beautiful. Marie and Francois made their own dream come true with Pavillon de... more

When we were greeted on our arrival by Francois and Marie it was like we had just been away awhile and had returned home to see old friends. They instantly made us feel comfortable, gave us an orientation to their home, the area and many practical tips that made our experience in the area better. We especially enjoyed the "happy... more

Everyone was rating this place as excellent, hard to believe. We gave it a go and its true. Even before we got there, Marie was very prompt with advice by email on travel advice such as local restaurants. We spent four nights at this great B and B and used it as a base to do day trips into the... more

As we drove down the long elegant driveway and were greeted by Marie and Francois, we could not have asked for a more perfect way to end a long day of travel. Regretfully we were only able to stay for 2 nights, but would absolutely return! The home, their hospitality, the food and drink - everything - exceeded our expectations!... more

Lovely grounds and gorgeous pool, comfortable room, friendly and committed hosts, quality and varied breakfasts, walking distance to Aix center yet tranquil and serene location. Daily highlight was the late afternoon cocktail hour hosted by Francois & Marie and attended by all the guests which, one night, included a cheese tasting. Superior B&B by any measurement. more

We traveled from the States to Provence with friends and spent our first 4 nights at Pavillion de la Torse. The accommodations were excellent, the hosts helpful, and the view from our window each morning a delight. The quiet setting close to town is the perfect get-away. Breakfasts and happy hour were a delicious way to socialize with the other... more

My husband & I couldn't have asked for a nicer B&B to start off our honeymoon. Not only is de la Torse a gorgeous home, in an oasis setting right outside of the old town of Aix, but Marie & Francois were amazing hosts. We would recommend their home to any travelers; and the most pleasant surprise was the nightly... more

This is a long one: It’s not often we stay in B&Bs, but when we do, they are usually in places off the beaten path and while I wouldn’t say Aix En Provence is off the beaten path, it certainly is not the typical tourist magnet that Paris or Cannes are. So in late September, we spent 5 wonderful days... more
