My wife and I stayed in hotel d'Arlatan mid-August in room 1B. The hotel location is great in the middle of the old city (althoug it is difficult to drive there, once you're in, you do not need the car anymore). This is a lovely little hotel. The building is old and wonderful. The rooms were clean and of a decent size. To me, the star of the place was the lovely courtyard with a fountain, and where you can take the excellent continental breakfast. This hotel is a must do! Originally the hotel was the home of one of the dukes of Burgundy and before that the romans built here. The reviews on this site as basically correct. This is a very quaint hotel located in the historical centre of Arles. We booked a larger room (for an additional 20 Euro) and it was a good size, overlooking the courtyard, which we loved. Bed and pillows were clean but I'm sorry to say quite uncomfortable.
