A charming little hotel, friendly staff, great location, we agree wholeheartedly with the previous reviewer. Everything looks new and shiny including the elevator. Gorgeous thick new towels in the bathroom. Toilet was in separate little room so very convenient as shower and basin room was small. Bed was large and comfortable and double windows kept out any noise. A small... more

I was shocked by the previous two reviews, and not sure they are talking about the same hotel. Having just splurged on the expensive Novotel in Nimes, I found the Acacias to be an excellent value. A short walk from the train station, two minutes from the river and promenade , you are within easy walking distance to all the... more

Made a terrible experience: after been bitten several times I found more than 20 bedbugs and their nests in my room behind and under my bed, in the corners of the room and on the wall hangings behind my bed. Must have been there for some time - clear lack of hygiene and cleanliness (room # 311). Could not get... more

I booked a room for 18 August 2009, providing my credit card details and the reservation was confirmed. On the day itself, barely two hours before my arrival, the hotel sent an email to say that my credit card number was "wrong" and my reservation was cancelled. There was no prior notice of any sort nor any attempt to make... more

We stayed at this hotel due to the reviews on trip advisor but we were v disappointed with the experience. Wish we had paid more and stayed somewhere else. If you're after a very basic no frills hotel then it is clean and in a handy location (close to train station and main sights), but if you want any comfort,... more

The hotel is located just inside the city walls, a short walk from the train station and a 5 minute walk to all the major sites in town. There's also a grocery store very close by. They offer breakfast for a nominal fee, but we did not partake. The room itself was tidy enough, however there were 15+ mosquitos in... more

It's not often that a hotel is really surprisingly good. Typically, you get what you pay for, so when you get a great hotel in a great location, you have to spend a great amount of money. But this one was an extremely pleasant surprise. Less than 10 minutes (probably closer to 5) to walk to the SNCF station or... more

This hotel was very reasonably priced, and was likely the best value of our entire trip through France. The location is excellent, the hotel modern and the rooms of a good size. If I ever return to Arles, I'd stay at the Hotel Acacias. more

This was a great place for the money. Very clean and updated, beds a little hard and terrible hair dryer. Very nice towels changed daily if you put them inside the shower. The front desk clerk told us to park outside the city walls and we had our car towed! It was market day and I guess he forgot!! It... more

Great location too, as mentioned by others. We had the only room with a large balcony, which was fun for watching the street life after dark (a couple of restaurants and a bar, nothing rowdy). We also had a great view of two old towers and a fountain. The theme here is very "Camargue" with bright colors, but not tacky.... more
