Room faced the street and because of hot early summer weather the window has to be open, and that allowed in lots of street noise. It is one of the most regrettable choice of my journey to southern france. I agree that it is not expensive for a two star hotel in provence, but certainly in Arles, this lay-back little city there would be a better choice. The lobby is magnificient, and decieving. I had mixed feelings about this place. It's very central and the building is very impressive on the ground floor but upstairs . . . it's sort of Gothic. They have distempered the walls in olive green and purple and the curtains are grey crushed velvet. In a dark and gloomy building with little natural light this is really odd.... more
