Mas de l'ile(Avignon) was the 2nd stopover in our honeymoon in
south France.Is a chambre d'hote(usually restored old villas or
farms,with the owners living nearby or in the same house).
Very beautiful farm with only 4 spacious rooms-all with seperate
entrances in the ground level(we love,my wife and I,that as we
live in a block of flats).The owners live on the floor(seperate entrance) and you can use the kitchen to prepare a snack or a coffee.At the front of the house there is a patio where the breakfast is been served(amazingly generous and fresh).At the back side there is a well attending garden and a small pool.We stayed for 3 days in the room just facing the pool.The room was quite big and warmly decorated.There was a small seperate WC and a very big bathroom.Cleaned every day.
The mas is situated on a big river-island just outside the Avignon
