The short walk to the Palais des Papes means that this very adequate little hotel is located in the narrow back streets of the medieval city. I really enjoyed my stay in the Hotel Medieval. The quaint hotel is right in the heart of Avignon. The staff make this hotel with their friendly, welcoming and helpful attitudes. The rooms are basic but clean. The reception area and courtyard are lovely. more

This was a great little spot with an enthusiastic staff, especially Mike (who spoke great English). The room was clean and overlooked a cool little courtyard. Quiet area but close to everything. I definitely had a great experience here. The in-room , free WiFi was a big plus. more
