The Clos du Rempart is a charming guest house, located inside the city walls of Avignon. It is built around its pretty patio planted with Provencal plants and enjoys a quiet and green neighbourhood. Two lovely bedrooms and one suite/flat apartment for a pleasant stay in town, have been thoughtfully designed with particular attention to details, for that added comfort and refinement. We are few minutes walking distance from the Popes- Palace, museums and restaurants. more » « less

We have recently returned from a 5 week journey through France , Italy & Croatia and had the very best of times and from which we,ve taken many great memories. Undoubtedly , one of the highlights - and there were many - was our 6 day stay at Le Clos du Rempart in Avignon , Provence. Firstly , Avignon itself... more

This was the most amazing B&B we stayed at during our 1 months Europe Trip. Aida was the best host I have ever experienced, really accommodating, helpful and supportive in every way. We have special dietary needs and she did not shy away from taking an extra trip to the market to buy us fresh eggs for breakfast- which was... more

This is a superb B & B within the walls in the old town of Avignon. All the positive comments already here, we echo. Aieda is a perfect host, a brillient advisor and maker of a very good breakfast indeed! She has a passion for running her small, beutiful guest house and nothing is too much trouble. If you decide... more

WE spent seven days at the Clos du Rempart in late August early September. ONe of the two rooms was large, lovely, and well furnished with a large beautiful bathroom. The other room was small but very comfortable. Madame Assad's greeting and service was terriific. She did everything possible to make us feel at home. Her interior courtyard is lovely... more

My girlfriend and I had a magnificent time—we couldn’t have asked for a nicer location and hostess. If you can possibly stay here, we would highly recommend you do so. more

Le Clos du Rempart is a beautiful, private guesthouse just within the old City wall of Avignon. We felt at home at once upon our arrival and felt more and more comfortable as the days passed. This is a perfect vacation spot and we are hoping to return as soon as we can manage it. Mlle Assad is the perfect... more

Feel at home the moment you meet the owner of this B and B. The owner has made her home an inviting refuge from the hustle and bustle of being the tourist in Avignon! This was my second stay here and will go again. The breakfast is eaten under a wisteria covered patio. I can not say enough about this... more

We stayed with Aida in her lovely home for just one night, our first night of our holiday this July. Aida is very welcoming and friendly, and the house is spacious and airy, with a wonderful courtyard area, filled with flowers, chairs, bright cushions and a water feature. A lovely breakfast is served outside under cover, with a view of... more

My daughter and I stayed at the Clos Du Rempart in late May early June of 2008. We had a delightful stay at the home of the hostess, Aida. Aida was a gracious and helpful hostess. Her home is lovely and very private and peaceful. The garden is lovingly cared for by Aida and was a wonderful place to relax... more

A tripadvisor member. Toronto, On, Canada July 1-4, 2008 My husband and I very much appreciated our stay in Clos du Rampart. Aida served wonderful breakfasts with fruit, healthy cereal, yogurt, cheese, breads and good coffee. Her private enclosed garden is lovely. She recommended good restaurants, specific boutiques, and even guided us in our car out of the walled city.... more
