Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The beds were put together quite funky. One bed frame longer than the other; we kept running on the longer frame. The welcoming was very cold. We were given the rules as if we were children. We found that very offensive. The pluming does not work in the shower; it’s either boiling hot or very cold. The heat pump needs maintenance. The place was not as cleaned as any of the other places we have been. It’s not a place we will ever return. Or recommend to anyone. We will be speaking to Ulifestyle where we belong to address all these issues, conduct and requirements, when members book through them.

Set a few rows back from the sea which is ideal. Plus lovely restaurants off main shopping area and old harbour. The apartment needs updating though and lacks basics like soap for simple washing of hands etc. The floors were in need of a good mop. Also the pool area has a walk through gate with water which makes it difficult for many users.

Be nice, please, we paying for your service. When asking for something it felt like we were in their way, don’t book the breakfast, you have to make the sofa to a double bed, it’s not a real bed, so if you’re having trouble with hard beds you’re in trouble.

This is a bare bones place. Uncomfortable. You have to take your towels and sheets down to the lobby before they allow you to check out. You have to take your rubbish in bags out to the big industrial bins down the street before they allow you to check out. Great if you like bunk beds though.

This is far more of a backpackers hostel than it is a hotel! It’s clean but so so basic, which would be fine if the price reflected it but we took a look at the other hotels we shortlisted when we were in Antibes and they were honestly a world away from this place. We paid a premium for a 1 bed apartment purely because it had a bed rather than a sofa bed but this doesn’t give it the right to compete with other, far more superior hotels. Don’t even get me started on the 200 euro deposit we had to pay on arrival!!!! It’s also nowhere near anything except the train station. Nearly a mile to the old town made it quite a jaunt there and back for lunch/ dinner etc. it feels very residential where it is, no bars, cafes etc. just a petrol station and a takeaway pizza place. This is all fine if you pay the appropriate price but we didn’t and we were bitterly disappointed with all aspects of it, apart from the cleanliness, I’ll give them that, at least it was clean!

I read some of theews and did not know what to expect. But the hotel is good and great value for money. Staff polite and friendly, very large one bed apt on 4th floor with fabulous views. Its a little dated and a bit quirky re plugs etc but again its very comfortable with a great bed. I am currently here just now so cannot comment on cleaning bill etc but so far so good I booked 3 one bedroom apts and we are all impressed! Mary from scotland

Room was exceptionally clean good size even for a young family of 4. Professional helpful friendly staff, lovely view across the bay and Old Antibes. Only issues was only one lift ever working so sometimes had to wait a couple of minutes. Not sure why but no plug in kitchen area for kettle? Had to use a floor one lol. Just a 10 minute stroll into the Old town over the bridge at the station. Small supermarket 2 minutes away and a boulangerie. Local bus no.6 to get you over to Juan Le pins just end of road from the property.

Beware of hidden charges. We booked the so call “hotel” via Hotels.com for 4 nights. Everything went well until we left checked out. A few days later, we notice there is a charge from the “hotel”, rang the “hotel” enquiring what is charge for. Was informed there was a city tax and a cleaning fees. We are happy to pay for the city tax but not cleaning fees. In the invoice from the Hotels.com, the only charges due at the “hotel” are the city tax and the bed sheets. We were also informed that the “hotel” is actually a service apartment and a cleaning fees is charged if the apartment is left without cleaning. We find this is absolutely not right, as if there is a cleaning fees incurred, it should be clearly stated on the booking website - not after we left the apartment. Secondly we left the apartment tidy and clean.

Reasonably priced and good sized family room with good facilities for self catering. The roof top / garden pools were lovely and a great temperature, kids and adults loved them. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great location near the train station, harbour and old town. Well stocked shop / boulangerie around the corner. WiFi connectivity very good. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was slightly worse than expected. The studio was a bit smaller than it should have been. The distance to the old town (15-20 mins walk) a bit longer. Not quite enough sunbeds on the roof. One toilet roll and one sachet of washing up liquid felt too tight. We were warned that the car park was tight and awkward, and it was. The WiFi was free but worked unreliably. There were two elevators but one broke down the day we arrived and was still unrepaired 5 days later. Having said all that, we got a family holiday in Antibes for a good, competitive price and all the above was liveable. The staff were helpful and efficient. The view from the rooftop pool was spectacular. We shan’t go back but nor do we regret the stay. It was OK for what it was.
