I would agree with the more positive reviews on this website for the Hotel Splendid. I was a little nervous as some reviews were not so good, but we needn't have worried. The sweetest thing about this hotel are the sweets that greet you at the front door because thats where the sweetness ends. Of the thousands of hotels that my partner and I have stayed at over the years, this was perhaps the worst when it comes to service. The staff were rude and unhelfpul and pretty much ripped us off.... more

I booked this room from the comments on TripAdvisor, but was shocked at the first room they tried to give us. The first room they tried to give us was terrible. I stayed here in July 2004. The location was perfect. Opposite the palais and the harbour and a stroll from Rue D'Antibes. The room was delightful.
