The Hotel has a lot of good things going for it - clean, central, near beaches but too many crazy rules to make it a good Hotel. Rules galore about not eating by the pool or in your room. Notices about checking out before 11 am as you check in. No interaction from owners or staff (apart from being told... more

Stayed 1 night in the hotel, it was the most reasonable hotel we could obtain. The location was pefect, five minute walk to the beach and a few steps from the beautiful old town with lovely restaurants. The room itself was tiny but was fine for just one night. The hotel is quite old. When we arrived we were warmly... more

We were really well welcomed by the people managing the hotel, very nice. We got a nice room really clean. It was also easy to park the car. Furthermore the old city of Cannes is really close so we were able to walk overthere, it is really a good place that I recommend. Gil more

We were directed to this small hotel /villa high on the hill overlooking Cannes by the tourist bureau. We had a small attractive room with a nice ensuite. The hotel was in a great location and we were able to park our car and walk through the older streets leading up to the church/castle on the hill and lookout then... more

I found the staff of this hotel to be very cheerful and helpful, however, the first night there, I discovered that I was not the only one inhabiting my bed. My first-floor room had bed bugs! I know that these terrible pests are difficult to get rid of, but how could they not know that the room had been infested?... more

We spent a few days in Cannes and were very pleased with our stay at this lovely family run hotel. It is located very close to the center of town and it is a 5 Minutes walk to the beach. Very convenient! We especially loved our quiet room and the small hotel feel. We'll definitely stay there next time we... more

Since we often stay at Chateaux & Hotels de France, we were expecting a pleasant experience. We had booked directly with Frederic of the owner's family and reserved a larger room with 2 beds, balcony and best view. From the first minutes of our arrival we knew this was not a usual Chateaux hotel or even a 3-star. Frederic scoffed... more

Two girlfriends and I went for a long weekend in Côte d'Azur, and we were really pleasantly surprised by the L'Olivier! For the price we paid for a triple room, I don't think we could have found a better value. It was really conveniently located, right near the old town, and the service was great. Even though there's no lift,... more

Spent two nights here in august. We wanted a quiet, central spot with parking and a pool and and that is what we got. rooms very quiet - excellent aircon, double-glazing and soundproofing. Parking and small pool. lovely service, privately run hotel with character. no lift. breakfast extra but we never ate it - so close to the beach and... more

This was a wonderful, intimate personal hotel in a great location. From the time we checked in until we had to leave, the staff was excellent! The rooms were nicely decorated, we had a view of the sea, the bathroom was small but complete. Breakfast in the glassed in front room was cosy and relaxed. I would not only recommend this... more
