It is as beautiful as in the movies (and perfume ads), quiet, central, and quite comfortable. Friendly staff (especially for France) gave room upgrade so the room was good value for money. The Carlton once was THE place to stay. It's a great location. Our room was large with a high ceiling. However, it is in desperate need of renovation. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls.
