I stayed in Hotel Cybelle for an one-week conference on August in Cannes La Bocca for its great location. Within 1-minute walk, you can find Gare de Cannes, bus stations of Bus #1, 2, 20, tourism office (besides Gare de Cannes), and buy some water, food, and wine in a supermarket called "MONOPRIX". I was a little irritated by the reaction of lilgra129 and their unjustified criticisms. I was their neighbour in the next room who asked them to lower the volume at 2am. Sound asleep, I was awoken by a shouty excitable female voice and could almost make out the words of her conversation. This was followed by an extremely loud hairdryer.... more
This has got to be the best value hotel in Cannes. Located spitting distance from the train station, down a small side street. The hotel is an old rambling wooden building with tons of character and the couple who run and own it are absolute gems. Very nice center hotel, friendly staff who spoke all kind of different languages, very old French style look, decoration a bit modest, but the bed was new and CLEAN! They serve breakfast to your room, and it was best one I've had for longtime. more

Don't let the price discourage you - this hotel has the best staff I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with, and a great location, to boot. Hotel is clean, located next to train station in city centre. Great value for money! Good beds and free WIFI! Owner/manager is a great guy! Because the hotel is relatively small, the management is quite flexible. When I go to Cannes, I will stay in this hotel! more
