Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

i can't say enough about this hotel. my room was beautiful and had all that i needed including a really great shower. everything in my room was well thought out and done with excellent design sense. the staff were all so friendly and helpful. there is a refrigerator in the breakfast room you can use. they offered suggestions of places to go and helped me find my way when i needed it. they collected feedback on my activities so they could offer better recommendations for future guests. the location was perfect. in the middle of everything while peaceful and relaxing. close to a good beach, the port, buses & trains to go anywhere i could possibly want. also close to many many restaurants of all prices as well as three grocery stores. it's super close to the train station so it's easy to get to. i extended my stay here since it was so comfortable. i hope to visit here again. i highly recommend hotel alnea.

Nice location just by the railway station and just a couple of minutes walk to the shopping streets and the beach. We got the tips from the owner to take the boat to the Saint Marguerite island and it was beautiful and perfect place to take a bath. The rooms are very clean, modern and have working AC and it’s sound proof from the streets. One perfect nights sleep. Very helpful and nice staff.

I stayed at hotel Alnea with my son in June. We really enjoyed our stay! The location was perfect, 3 minutes from the train/ bus station, in the middle of the center with shops and restaurant and very close to the promenade walk by the sea. The hotel is comfortable and clean. Nice bed and bathroom. It has a very stylish touch with well thought details that gives it a personal touch. But the best is the owners Noemie and Cedric that are very friendly and can give you the best advice about what to do in Cannes. Perfect for me as it was my first time there. Good breakfast with very nice personnel. I really recommend this hotel if you visit Cannes. Matilda Rotkirch from Stockholm

My wife and I spent a very nice week at Hotel Alnea in June 2018. Despite the 'modest' two-star status, the place was very nice - very friendly and helpful staff, cosy and clean rooms, air-conditioning, nice spacious bathroom etc. We did not take hotel breakfast (extra charge), but there was a nice family bakery across the road and plenty of shops within a block or two, so it was not a problem. And we could use the dining room with its dishes, cutlery and refrigerator. On the whole, it was even nicer than our three-star place in Paris. Staying at Alnea certainly contributed to warmest impressions of our visit to Cannes . Thank you, guys. Tatiana and Konstantin, Russia.

Loved the hotel and the owner was very helpful and nice. Got a bigger room sense we had a baby with us. Great space in the room for him to crawl around. The location of the hotel was perfect for us sense we were traveling by train. It took about three minutes to walk to the station. Only downside was that the hotel didn't have an elevator, but we could park our stroller in the reception so it wasn't an issue for us.

Great hotel within walking distance of everything-- La Croisette, Rue d'Antibes, the beach, the ferries, etc. Everything was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, the curtains were dark, and there was plenty of space for our suitcases. Our room even had a little kitchenette. Noemie recommended that we pack a picnic (or buy a pan bagnat at Philcat!) and take the ferry to Ile St Marguerite (bring your bathing suit and a towel, too)-- it was the best afternoon activity of our stay.

This hotel has the perfect location and it is clean and comfortable. Noémie and Cédric are very accommodating and super welcoming. The decor is chic and modern. Everything is brand new. The bed was comfortable and Noémie gave us extra pillows. The room was small but who needs more? The bathroom was small yet it had the best shower we had on this visit. The neighborhood was adorable and neighboring shops were wonderful. The room was not expensive- frankly it was better than some 3 star hotels we stayed in! There is a breakfast room where guests can make tea, and keep food in the fridge. Will come back ASAP! Merci!

Location is great. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. Our room was very small but functional. If you stay for a couple of days, it's perfect; for a longer stay it might start to feel too small. The parking Ferrage (or Perrage?) is very close to The hotel (it's 18 euro sa day; considering how ridicously expensive everything is in Cannes, The price for parking is not too bad!)

The staff at this hotel was exceptional! I felt like a valued guest from the moment I arrived. Spotlessly clean when I arrived, and perfectly maintained for the entire 2 week stay. Location was excellent. Approximately 3 blocks from one of the casinos, 2 blocks from the train station, and 4 blocks from the beach. Surrounded by an extensive array of shopping and eating experiences. The staff provided suggestions and discounts for many of the activities in the area. Free and strong WiFi. A/C performed flawlessly. In room safe helpful, but, I never felt insecure at all. Outstanding value for money.
