Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The hotel location is excellent, right by the beach with good beach restaurants. The staff are delightful, very welcoming and accommodating. The rooms are small but well apportioned , recently refurbished to a good quality. Would definitely recommend, and excellent value for money.

Hotel cancelled my room a day before I was due to arrive, unable to show their inventory online. Be careful booking here, as rooms are not guaranteed when booked! No apology or assistance offered finding another room

This was one of our best stays during our roadtrip along the French Rivièra. It is super close to the beach, the owners are very nice, friendly and helpfull and it’s very cosy because it’s not a large hotel. Perfect in our eyes. The breakfast is really nice and overall we had a holiday vibe throughout our entire stay. The rooms are a bit small if you have a lot of luggage and the bed can be a bit more comfortabele, but my husband is very tall so next time we will ask about the other rooms and book more in advance. You can park your car for free just in front of the hotel (if there is space) and we really enjoyed the calmness and hospitality. We will definitely come back and recommend this hotel if you want an affordable, nice and calm stay in Antibes.

The Miramar was close to what I expected after reading the reviews. Located in a great part of town, about 3kms from old Antibes and 2 km from Juan des Pines. So it was quiet but very close to the action and had a beach and 3 restaurants close by. It is also at the start of the walk around the Cap which is a must. I arrived after a weary trip from Lyon, to be told by a sassy Swiss lady behind the counter that I had arrived too early as check in was at 3pm, checking my phone I noted it was 2.45. After some banter she showed me the ropes and it did not take me long to work out the honor system for the bar and the fact that “sand has to stay on the beach and not be brought into the hotel”. Armed with my riding instructions I was able to move into the room. Some people may find the rooms a little small but I found them fine..very clean and nicely decorated, just don’t bring 5 suitcases with you. The next day we met the owners who were lovely people and were always willing to help us with information on the area. We had a great 3 days here. If you need queen size beds and big bathrooms, I would suggest you book in to an industrial hotel because this place will annoy you, but if you want a quaint place to stay with lovely staff off the main drag the Miramar is great.

A quiet and comfortable hotel just up the road from a nice little beach with wonderful views. I was traveling alone on spring break, a rather impromptu trip that I decide on at the last minute. The hosts were most hospitable and friendly and I found them to be very helpful, answering any questions I had. It was a little bit of a hike in to town but I made the most of it. It was good exercise and a pleasant walk. I chose to walk rather than Uber most of the time simply because I was eating so much great food there in the South of France that walking gave me the excuse to continue doing just that. I found it to be a very reasonable rate, as well. I would certainly stay here again if I'm ever in southern France again. And as much as I love France I sure hope to be. Thank you for a great stay in Antibes.

We stayed for 7 nights and loved the hotel. The location is perfect, just off the beach, and central for exploring Cote D’Azur. The team were all really friendly and helpful. A good breakfast is available in a very nice and relaxing room, which also has outdoor space on either side to relax either in sun or shade. We would definitely stay again.

I recently spent one night in this lovely small hotel and was very pleased with the overall experience. This is a boutique hotel run by a husband and wife team and they pay attention to every little detail. The rooms and common spaces of the hotel are very clean, and the service was impeccable. The hotel Is a few steps from the sea and the location is quiet due to being in a residential neighborhood. II’ll definitely return.

One of the first times I have written a review as I am a hotel General Manager in London and realise I have enough challenges of my own. Really do not like this place as a hotel is a hotel not a home. I don't understand the scenario, we couldn't find somewhere to eat we liked so took food from the shop back to what looked like a communal kitchen only to be told off. If you serve food then put a menu in the rooms telling us. The staff treat you like prisoners. I hate staying here. I hope we can leave before our stay ends, it is like big brother and hate it.

Response from miramarAntibes, Responsable relations clients at Hotel Miramar Cap d'Antibes
Responded 21 Sept 2018
Monsieur, This is the first time we have guests who cook at the hotel and in addition without asking permission. We don't offer meals, it's not a restaurant! You must respect the breakfast room, which is not a personal or common kitchen. As a "manager" you should know this and respect the facilities in which you are staying. Hotels or restaurants, your personal consumption must remain discreet.

Beautiful small hotel, however, the facilities let it down. Nowhere to sit outside and have breakfast unless you are willing to pay €12 for a coffee and a croissant! There is no kettle or cups in the room to allow you to make your own either. No mini fridge too. Some of the staff are extremely rude. Also, €5 per day for beach towel rental seems a bit extortionate! On checkout they charged us an additional €18 on top of the taxes we had paid already. They also told us that they are always watching guests on the security cameras out of hours!!! AVOID THIS HOTEL ********

Response from miramarAntibes, Responsable relations clients at Hotel Miramar Cap d'Antibes
Responded 21 Sept 2018
Sir, A very complete buffet is available for breakfast, a mini bar is available 24/24 in the common areas with a choice of 15 different drinks, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine are also available at all hours. Your personal breakfasts are tolerated outside the hotel's breakfast opening hours. But you don't know how to respect that principle. Beach towels are available at discounted rates depending on the length of the rental period. Video surveillance is necessary in the facility for the protection of property and people. Under no circumstances is a person under permanent surveillance on the hotel's video. Your words are lies in order to harm the hotel, nothing more.

The staff are incredible - accommodating and lovely! They went above and beyond and I would highly recommend a stay with the Miramar. Great location near the beach on Cap d'Antibes. Close to Plage Keller which is a great restuarant
