Just stayed 4 days at the Mercure. Location great and staff really friendly and helpful especially Jacques on reception he was a real character and spoke great English. I chose this hotel for its location and I was not disappointed. It was 10 steps of the promenade and a great location. Have been to the hotel 3 times in Spring, Summer and Fall. The location can't be beat. The service is "french" so to say. Arrogant and snubby. BUT who cares. the location and rooms are adequate, no need for a car, but we had one and parked in the garage that could be walked down to directly from the hotel.... more
