One of the best hotels in my 2 months stay in Euope - best loaction. Allocated room 304 which was a corner suite which had 2 walls of floor to ceiling windows, a balcony with 180 degree veiw of the beach and Promenade des Anglais - very modern and very claen. Staff very helpful and friendly. We were there for... more

We had a room at the side of the Hotel overlooking a side street off the Promenade des Anglais - but still had a sea view from the small balcony. Quadraple glazing kept the traffic noise out. The en-suite room was clean and of adequate size with a modern flat-screen TV that worked! Early risers got the best of the... more

Just stayed 4 days at the Mercure. Location great and staff really friendly and helpful especially Jacques on reception he was a real character and spoke great English. We were given a room facing the garden/sea front (room 302) which had a balcony and were very pleased with this. The double window doors and double glazing kept the traffic noise... more

I chose this hotel for its location and I was not disappointed. It was 10 steps of the promenade and a great location. I asked for the "garden view" room because it has a partial view of the sea and cheaper than the "sea view". It was great. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Check in... more

Have been to the hotel 3 times in Spring, Summer and Fall. The location can't be beat. The service is "french" so to say. Arrogant and snubby. BUT who cares. the location and rooms are adequate, no need for a car, but we had one and parked in the garage that could be walked down to directly from the hotel.... more

Occupying the lower (but not ground) two floors of the famous Meridien Hotel, this Mercure is priced as a budget property in comparison. Its small and very basic lobby is quite misleading – the also small elevators take you up to the 2nd or 3rd floors where you will find large orange corridors that seem like a 70 flash-back… The... more

We stayed at the Promendade for two nights a week ago. Off-season in Nice so not crowded. The hotel location is excellent, situated across from the beach on the main coastal road. Place Massena only a few blocks away and Old Nice a short distance beyond that. Bus access very easy. The hotel staff were friendly, although not all of... more
