This hotel is, essentially, in the heart of Nice between the old asnd new and very close to the Cours Salaya and the beach. Happy, friendly, helpful staff, decent breakfasts, good rooms where everything worked. It was a great place to stay. more

Great location - the hotel is right near Old Nice with lots of great restaurants and 1 block from the Beach. The rooms are clean, slightly small and have brand new bathrooms. The breakfast was okay. The hotel has a modern feel to it and the staff we encountered were very helpful and had great suggestions for transportation, reservations, etc.... more

we waited for hours till our room was ready. as we walked in to the room the smell of urine hit me. the bath was not cleaned well. the air was damp and stuffy. the air conditioner was on, but it did a horrible job. the bed was so hard and the pillows were so flat it made sleep difficult.... more

Beau Rivage is still (in our opinion) the best hotel in it's class in Nice. It feels chic wihtout any of the pretension. Their beach and it's bar/restuarant are fantastic and the location is perfect for touring the old part of the city.
