Stink of stale urine in toilet & floor (though they did clean it for us when we asked). Bathroom very substandard. Shabby & cramped room, corridors & lifts. Wrong side of port from main centre & tourist area. Wouldn't recommend walking back after dark. No hotel restaurant & none nearby. Only for the desperate really. more

Having just stayed at the agata for the 2nd time this year (previously in feb) I cant see what all the fuss is about. Clean comfortable rooms. Courteous helpful staff and above all else value for money. If you want five star go to the egresco and pay accordingly more

I would say the biggest problem was the location. Upon arriving at the train station we opted to take the bus as we were on a budget. The bus driver was outstanding and didnt know where the hotel was but asked the passengers which told us that we had to stop about 4 blcoks from the hotel and foot it.... more
