We spent three nights in this hotel in July. First the positives - the hotel is close to bars, restaurants and shops, and only 20 minutes walk from the sea front. The apartment room was clean, well furnished, had good AC, and provided good value for money. The bathroom was a little cramped but certainly good enough for the price... more

We booked this hotel through Superbreak, but were a bit worried after reading the mixed reviews on Tripadvisor (should have taken heed). The Superbreak comments descibe the hotel as 'charming, with a peaceful and relaxed atmospehere.' It was horrible. We were given keys to two rooms when we arrived, and asked to select the one we preferred (this rang alarm... more

presumably like anyone else even considering this hotel, budget was the prime reason for going ahead. in my mind the less i spent on a hotel, the more i could spend on the nice experience. however, it would of been pointless going at all if this was to be a negative experience. AHEAD we went . The reviews were very mixed... more

The 1st room we were given had 2 single beds, even though we specifically asked for a double bed. So they offered us a second room. The 2nd room had a very strong, unbearable, urine smell, which they admitted was a problem but insisted that the bathroom from which it emanated was perfectly clean(!). We asked to be moved to... more

My husband Pat and I recently stayed here on a 3 day break. We arrived too early to check in, however, our luggage was put into a storage room, so we were free to explore the town unencumbered. We got a free upgrade (for some reason!) to a room (412) with a roof garden. Quite a large area with table,... more

Stayed here while I was in college with 2 of my friends. Overall we enjoyed our experience here and nothing really to complain about. The hotel was no frills, but clean and inexpensive. The staff was very helpful. It is located about 20 minutes away from downtown, so if you're looking to stay in the middle of the action, this... more

Overall this was a great little hotel. There was free WIFI in the lobby, very nice staff that changed our room when we asked, and they even had arrangements with a VERY REASONABLY PRICED RENTAL CAR AGENCY!!! I can definitely say this was a great value for the money. more

You get what you pay for. We paid 60 euro per night. We didn't eat breaky there, so I can't comment on that. For breaky we often visited the local bakery and brought delicious pastries - though ensure you know enough French as its not a super touristy area. The hotel is located about a 20min stroll from the Beach/Promenade.... more

This was a miserable location which was so far removed from the beach, the plaza, the museums, it was in the middle of a rather desolate at night area. As a single female, I did not feel safe in the area at night. Limited resturants in neighborhood. The rooms were closet size and the walls were lke paper. Breakfast was... more

After reading some reviews for The Hotel Comte De Nice I was quite apprehensive ahead of my stay. However, upon arrival I found that the staff were very competent and friendly, the room was very clean and although it was fairly small for the price of the hotel it represented excellent value for money. 2 minutes from the main street... more
