Good location, within 3 mins walk of train station, and quiet, in private close, and only few minutes walk to restaurants, and the promenade. But it seemed unloved. Booked small single room which unfortunately did not look out on to the courtyard. Never mind, you get what you pay for. Room was cleaned daily, except for a bedside drawer which proved to be full of cigarette ash (in this non-smoking hotel). This was promptly dealt with after my complaint. We transferred to this hotel after a shambolic arrival at our booked accomodation , The Royal Luxembourg Apartments. (Review of that imminent and not a good experience!) The room I stayed was not cleaned. A man's underwear was still in the room when I checked in. The young woman working day shift at the hotel was so rude and ignorant, and moved my family to a hotel next door without even asking us. Although this hotel is close to the railway it is tucked away in a quiet cul de sac. There was also some free car parking spaces. Situated an easy walk into the main town and bay. Good tramway system too nearby. Makes a stay in Nice affordable when compared to other hotels in the area. The rooms were a reasonable... more
