The hotel was rather tired and needs some upgrading. Furnishings and decor were of a fairly poor standard. The hairdryer in our bedroom was broken. Breakfast was disappointing, very basic, no cheese or cold meats. On a positive note the hotel was in a good location and the staff were nice more

As so many other reviewers have said, this hotel is fantastic for the price. It isn't modern, It isn't swish and would probably benefit from a bit of a makeover, but it's chock full of lovely character and warm charm. Please don't visualise chintzy bedding and naff floral curtains a la B&B in Blackpool, it's a lot better than that.... more

A good deal and find. Good location, close to beach. Small room but they openly admit that on their website. Lovely new bathroom. Great breakfast area, decent breakfast included too and most importantly for me,quiet!!
