Completely refurbed, clean, handy hotel; no sign of anything broken, missing, dirty or inattentive; delightful staff -- pays to speak French. BUT it has no phone system so any calls or wake-ups are out. No TV either and the rooms are microscopic but well priced... Staff on duty only at lunch time and evening.... more

The Petit Louvre used to be a good hotel. Unfortunately, after the long standing owners sold up, it has gone downhill. Simple, family run hotel with great management. This place is terrific for budget travelers who are looking for a quirky, offbeat, but clean and safe lodging while staying in a very exciting French city. Breakfast is the traditional French croissant, confitures, baguette, etc. If you want a really warm experience in a big city, stay in this hotel. more
