Do not stay here!!! Do not, unless you are indifferent to bed bugs, casket-sized shower stalls and 1960s era bed spreads. My girlfriend and I arrived in the beautiful city of Nice, after a wonderful week in Paris and three great days in Venice. We really just wanted three relaxing days on the beach of Nice and Cannes, but this hotel was simply unacceptable.

We were booked for three nights, but left after the first. The stairs were dimly lit (no elevator), we lugged our two weeks' worth of luggage up four flights of stairs, needing to find the timered light switch at every turn. When we entered the room, we were speechless. The bathroom door did not extend fully down to the floor. The beds looked lumpy.

I laid down reluctantly from travel exhaustion (and those stairs), only to awake twenty minutes later with red bug bites on my shoulder. My girlfriend insists that I mention the indeterminate fuzz on the shower stall.
