As mentioned in the title - the positive is that if you are lucky to get a seeside apartments (50%), then you will have a magnificent view. Stayed at the Excellior with a colleague in mid-July for five nights. Got an upgrade due to my Choice Platinum card. Great seaview from 6ht floor, which was of no use. You have to wear ear protection to sit on the balcony for more than a few minutes. To far from "downtown" Nice. You have to take a bus, last one is 9 pm, and taxis are rare in Nice. Look for... more

This hotel needs a shake-up badly. It has the disadvantages of almost all hotels on the Promenade des Anglais: it's too noisy outside to get any sleep unless you're in a luxury soundproofed hotel.
